Welcome to the Prairie Sky Church blog/Website. Prairie Sky Church began with a vision to plant a United Church of Christ in Fishers, IN. The church planters, Nicole and Todd Grant Yonkman, spent twelve months–from July 2007 to June 2008–pouring our hearts and lives into the work of making that vision a reality. In June 2008, the planters (us) and our supervisors in the United Church of Christ came to the conclusion that we simply weren’t attracting the critical mass of people necessary to do a launch a church in Fishers successfully. So the Prairie Sky Church chapter of our adventures in following Jesus are drawing to and end.
